It is already December. I wish the pure side of the mind blooms with the hope of being ready to start a new chapter of life. This winter seems colder than ever because the pure joy of winter sentiment is interrupted by my anxiety about the Korean situation. The democratic system of Korea has become paralyzed under the corrupt regime. I would stand up for justice with sincere Korean citizens to make things right.  However, I strive to maintain my composure and hold onto the winter sentiment lingering in my mind. Apart from the anxiety in my mind, I reflected on the pure side through writing a novel, painting, and doing crafts. If I didn't have my artistic sensibility, I might have succumbed to anxiety over the situation happening in Korea. It is already the end of the year. I was supposed to design the memo papers for the new resolution and gratitude & regret. But this month came to me with mixed emotions and swirled my mind. But I overcame it. And I am ready to embrace the new year with a fresh mind as usual. I want to share two illustrations to express my sentiment for this month. It is time to send away my lingering autumn sentiment at the entrance of the winter path. Before I jump into the sentiment in the winter mood, I leave my trace of autumn sentiment on my art, craft, and photos.  ‘Sunset’ - acrylics, conceptual art I expressed sunset in this art as this year is subsiding into the river of the memory. I expected colorful autumn to dye my days with what it brought in the season. In reality, I felt as if I was drifting away. In my unconscious part, curiosity, inspiration, and motivation came along with me and seemed to whisper, 'We are with you.'  This autumn might not have come to me as it was supposed to because so many vulnerable citizens got brutally killed amid war in other countries. War, war, war in various shapes of wars throughout the world! Some countries celebrate to accelerate their sales of arms. Ghosts seem to wander around to haunt malicious people before Halloween in this sudden chilly weather. I needed to uplift myself with vivid colors, so I expressed my sentiment in colors with the theme of autumn in my four kinds of visual art. The weather is almost coming at the end of summer. I am already knocking on the door of Autumn and preparing for a colorful festival in my mind. My anticipation for the new season made me indulge in charming crafts such as crochet slippers, hair bows, felt baskets, rattan trays, and fabric key-rings ahead of Autumn. The handmade process with retro sentiment brings  tranquil and meditative moments to digital life. S ummer fruits quench my thirst. Juicy fruits like a sweet watermelon cool me down in hot and sultry summer. P.S.: I designed a sky-blue scarf, a tumbler, and illustration cards in the photo below. I want to share my thoughts on social issues. These issues have not only happened to my country. It is an ongoing worldly matter, too. Before that, I express some aspects of true luck in my illustration of 'a four-leaf clover'. Four-leaf clover I illustrated a four-leaf clover that represents the inner aspect of luck. People in this period are used to seeking luck from external factors with wealth, success, and fame. But I approach another point of view on luck. In my illustration, I express some patterns of luck from wisdom, hope, faith, and passion, laying on strength, flow, rising, and sincerity.
